RK MacWorld, Bavdhan, Pune. By browsing this website, sending us an enquiry, chatting with us on WhatsApp or
completing a purchase, you accept these terms.
1. About us
RK MacWorld is a MacBook-focused retail store operating from Shop No 1, Indraneel Society, Trimurti Chowk, Near New Puna Bakery, Lane No 2, Bavdhan, Pune - 411021. We sell brand new,
pre-owned and certified refurbished MacBooks, along with related accessories, setup support, exchange and repair
services. We are an authorised reseller of Apple products in India, but we are an independent retailer and any
reference to Apple or iStore is descriptive of the products we stock.
2. Product information and availability
- We aim to keep pricing, specifications and stock on this website accurate and current, but errors can occur. Stock counts are live at the time of the update and change quickly.
- Product images may differ slightly from the unit you receive. Pre-owned and refurbished units are physically different machines and will not be pixel-identical to the studio shots.
- The final price for a specific configuration is confirmed on WhatsApp or in store before any payment is taken.
- Offers are subject to the terms listed on the individual offer page, availability of stock and a valid end date.
3. Pre-owned and refurbished MacBooks
Every pre-owned and refurbished unit sold by us goes through a documented inspection before sale, covering:
- Battery health and cycle count
- Display, brightness and dead pixel check
- Keyboard, trackpad, ports, speakers, camera and microphone
- Hinge, chassis, screws and water-damage indicators
- Storage health, RAM and battery cycle verification
The measured condition of each unit is shared with you in writing before you pay. The grade shown on the website
and on your invoice is the grade of the unit you actually receive. A unit graded as a particular condition does not
mean it is cosmetically flawless - cosmetic marks are described to you and reflected in the price.
4. Orders and payment
- An order is confirmed only after we have verified stock, shared the final invoice and received payment.
- Payment is accepted by bank transfer, UPI, debit/credit card at our store, or in person at our store. We do not request card PINs, CVV or OTPs over WhatsApp, phone or email under any circumstances.
- Title in the goods passes to you on receipt of full payment.
- If a listed configuration turns out to be unavailable, we will offer an equivalent alternative at a comparable price, or cancel the affected line and refund it in full.
5. Pricing, taxes and invoices
- All prices on this website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
- Every sale is supported by a proper tax invoice carrying the GSTIN of the selling entity.
- Accessories, extended warranty, insurance, delivery and installation are charged separately unless the offer page clearly states they are included.
- No-cost EMI and card EMI availability is subject to the issuing bank's terms and is confirmed at the time of purchase.
6. Delivery
- Insured delivery across India is arranged for eligible orders. Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on the courier and the destination.
- The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery, or on handover to the courier where the order is shipped.
- Inspect the unit and its accessories as soon as you receive the delivery, and report any transit damage to us within 24 hours so it can be recorded with the courier.
7. Returns, exchanges and refunds
- Brand new MacBooks carry the standard Apple India warranty. Warranty claims are honoured through the standard manufacturer process, and we assist you with the paperwork.
- Pre-owned and refurbished MacBooks carry the store warranty stated on your invoice. The exact warranty period and what it covers are written on the invoice and are not changed after the sale.
- Service, repair and replacement of faulty components are covered by the relevant warranty, subject to the terms of that warranty.
- Refund requests for physical products are subject to the condition the unit was sold in. A unit returned with damage beyond the documented grade may attract a deduction, which is explained to you in writing before any refund is processed.
- Any cash refund is processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of an approved return or cancellation.
8. Exchange programme
We value your existing MacBook on current market terms after physical inspection. The valuation depends on the
actual condition of the device at the time of inspection. An exchange valuation is an adjustment against your new
purchase and is not redeemable for cash.
9. Repairs and support
We provide post-purchase support, genuine spares and repair for the Macs we sell. Repairs on units bought
elsewhere are subject to a separate diagnostic charge and a repair estimate that we share before starting work.
Repairs to units still under manufacturer warranty are handled through the manufacturer, which can take longer.
10. Offers and promotional campaigns
- Time-bound offers on this website run until the end date or until the stock attached to them is exhausted, whichever happens first. The live countdown timer on an offer page is indicative and is refreshed when the page loads.
- Unless an offer page says otherwise, an offer cannot be combined with another promotion, coupon or discount.
- We may withdraw or change any offer at any time before it ends, including where an offer has been mispriced or published in error.
11. Website content and intellectual property
The text, layout, design, logos, images and code on this website belong to RK MacWorld or to their respective
owners. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, scrape, republish or commercially reuse
the content, product descriptions, photography or design without written permission. Apple, MacBook, MacBook Air,
MacBook Pro and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc., used here to identify the products we sell.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this website to post unlawful, defamatory or misleading content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the admin panel, to interfere with its operation, or to send unsolicited bulk messages through our contact forms.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RK MacWorld is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use
of a MacBook, including lost data, lost profit or business interruption, except where the loss results from our
fraud, wilful misconduct or a failure to honour a warranty we have expressly given. Nothing in these terms limits
your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
14. Intellectual property claims and third-party content
Reviews shown on this site are published on Google and posts shown from Instagram are published on Instagram. They
remain the property of their authors, and we display them under the permissions granted by those platforms. We
are not responsible for the content of third-party posts.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any
dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your purchase from us, subject to any mandatory
consumer forum or statutory rights that apply where you reside.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and the updated terms are published on this page.
